NHL Trade Deadline
The Deadline has passed and the NHL is "all shook up". Peter Forsberg in Nashville? Come on. This tight salary cap really limits the abilities of teams to rent a player for a cup run. It needs to be set at $50 million for now. Elite teams could remain elite and smaller teams can still compete. This "new" NHL has put great teams like the Avalanche, Maple Leafs, and Bruins because of a tight spot. After this summer Calgary will get a new look because of the cap. It's time for a change. Start with dropping Gary Bettman.
